A full-day excursion of eight to nine hours and about 110 km into the Dades Valley, known as the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs. You see the Monkey Fingers rock formations, walk a stretch of the Dades Gorge, pass through Berber villages and stop at a rose-water or handicraft cooperative, with a lunch stop with a mountain view.

Ouarzazate → Dades Valley → Monkey Fingers rocks → Dades Gorge

Drive about 110 km east through the valley, stop at the Monkey Fingers rocks and walk part of the Dades Gorge. On the way back you pass Berber villages and a cooperative making rose water and handicrafts. About eight to nine hours in all.
