Questions
How many people can travel together?
The tour is private, and the price per person depends on the group size, from two to six people per vehicle. Ask us if you travel alone or in a larger group.
Is there a supplement in the festive season?
Yes, 45 EUR per person applies to departures between 20 December and 10 January.
Which meals are included?
Breakfast and dinner are included. Lunches and drinks are paid on the road.
What do I need to bring?
Sun protection, a warm layer for the desert night and comfortable shoes for the dunes. The camp provides bedding.
How far is Erg Chigaga from Marrakech?
About 600 km by road, around eight hours of driving, spread over two days with the night in Zagora. The last 60 km from M'Hamid are off-road.
Is it suitable for children?
Yes, we recommend it from about 5 years old. For very young children the comfort camps near Erg Chebbi may suit better. Tell us the ages when you enquire.
Can I add a night or extend the tour?
Yes. The tour is arranged individually, so we can add a night at Erg Chigaga, a walking stage or another dune field. Tell us what you would like.
When is the best time to go?
Spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) are the most comfortable, with warm days and fresh nights. Winter nights are cold, so bring warm layers. Summer is very hot and not recommended for walking.
